The
Institute is headed by a Principal & has 46 employees
including training and administration staff. Courses
conducted by the Institute are of two types viz. Driver
training courses and ITI courses.
Driver training instructor
impart training of tradesmen in welding(Gas & Arc), Mechanic auto electrical & electronics,
Mechanic refrigration & air conditioning, Mechanic
Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic electronics,
Driver-cum-mechanic (LMV) and Driver-cum-mechanic (HMV)
disciplines.
PRINCIPAL:
It is a matter of great help on
the part of PRTC & Tata Motors for providing the services of
Mr. Gurdeep Singh Sekhon –
- as Principal with effect from 01-10-2018 of State Institute of Automotive &
Driving Skills, Mahuana. Gurdeep Singh Sekhon, with his vast experience
in academics, technical know-how and administration will
prove an asset to the Institute as far as its progress
and development of students is concerned. The teaching
faculty, students and other staff of this Institute would
benefit themselves with the large experience, administrative
efficiency and dedication of this eminent personality
and would be able to equip themselves not only in academic
contents of studies but also become good human beings
to become pride of our dear Nation. All persons in the
Institute, under his directions and guidance would be
able to maintain the requisite standards to the greatest
heights, shape their future and prepare themselves for
global competition.
TEACHING STAFF: Needless to mention,
technically qualified and well experienced teaching
staff with the necessary qualifications has been recruited
by the Selection Committee as per norms after careful
screening. The faculty members go through regular training
programs, designed to update them with the latest trends
in teaching and students’ development as per the
requisite standards and understand the students’
needs in a gentle and caring way.
The teachers impart the best knowledge
to the students with their far-sighted vision, academic
interest as far as the syllabus and other related matters
are concerned. They generate critical knowledge and
innovative ideas in the students. Their selfless devotion
and keen interest enables the students to explore and
unfold their hidden talents. They not only help the
students in their studies but also encourage them in
all respects to develop into a whole balanced person
& nurture them to compete globally. They also help
them by creating a caring, supportive atmosphere in
which the students can meet their goals. Individual
attention is paid by the teachers to all students to
enable them to realize their full potential. Interactive
learning is used as a tool to help the students explore
the world around them.
In all, this Institute is a place,
designed to make the students feel at home and evoke
a sense of belonging where focus of the teaching faculty
is set to develop the essential skills of their pupils
and tap their huge potential for learning and give them
the perfect platform to flourish. The students are offered
a structured curriculum.
SUPPORTING STAFF:
Requisite number of experienced
supporting staff with necessary qualifications has been
provided by the Management for running the affairs of
the Institute smoothly in all respects.
